I find the thing with blinds is the fitting, they can be a right pain in the arse to fit right, and also to ensure you have the right size as there is no such thing as standard windows.

Never had a problem with my blinds, you can nearly always find some somewhere that either fit perfectly (my hallway), fit snug (my living room) or just about fit (my 2nd bedroom)

I've got a guy coming round to plaster the ceiling, once that is done I can paint the ceiling and and walls and then start moving my stuff in.

If the plasterer dosen't fuck about it should be close to completion by xmas.
