its over 30ft long but only about 9 - 10 ft wide. I know from the actual screen to where I sit is only about 3.5 metres. Pretty sure I read that a 52 inch screen is the maximum you should have at that distance - something to do with noticing more artifact problems due to the size of the screen and your proximity to it.

Hardly have any problems on my 46, so reckon could have got the 52 and had no more problems

But I assumed cos one is a 32" TV
That TV also happens to be CRT
The shear number of consoles he has
Not enough sockets on the back of a single TV

phil is right on all counts, plus the fact that PS2, Dreamcast, and any other lo def console looks better on a CRT.

I have a 4 way SCART (proper SCART) box for the CRT and a 4 way Component box for the HDTV, that box also handles the digi sound to my amp.
