no but then I have plenty of spare scart ports around the back of the tv

FFS,
the point is the Wii does not have hdmi output as standard, and if you plug any games console via SCART to a HDTV all you get is a fucking mess.

I thought you had an idea about games consoles and TV's ????????

having looked at the specs, it takes the 480i signal and upscales the picture, I just don't think the improvement will be worth the cost.

think you're better off getting the wii component cable and using that instead and letting the tv do the rest.

I use a component cable, but it appears this does a better job still.

dont think you'll see the £50 improvement, still I wait for your review. Think the money would be better spent on whatever HD system they bring out next, would be surprised if it werent BC compat
